Woke up to a gray, hazy Saturday morning. Ate watermelon slices and then it was off to the beach for a stroll with Tim and Julie. Took wonderful photos of a blue crab and seagulls and pelicans. Back at the beach house, made biscuits from scratch to have with egg omlet and canadian bacon at the table on the deck. Hung out on the deck watching people, dogs and cars that were lost. Later went to the Strand for shopping and then ate at Willie G's REstaurant on the Wharf. Went over to check out jumbo shrimp prices at under 12 dollars for humongus shrimp. Met Doug on the Strand and later Julie and I went to our favorite antique shop near Broadway. Back home to walk out to the water and then hanging on the deck again and watching el gato. About 7 hopped into the car for the trip into Galveston to have fish tacos at the local favorite, Shrimp n Stuff. Home by 9 to take the flashlights for a guided tour of the beach and all the ghost crabs running amuck. Left Julie and Tim outside on the deck in the breeze while I'm writing this blog. Fun day!
