Day 152

Great sunny morning! Doug made pancakes from scratch with real maple syrup and added blueberries in the mix. Sunny side up eggs to match the day were served out on the deck. Had a wonderful morning chatting with Tim and Julie and they traveled on back to East Texas midday. Doug and I went to the fish market in the early afternoon on the wharf to check the day's catch. Then we ate at the open air Bistro on The Strand and went across the street to Henley's Market. Came home and changed into our swimsuits and busted waves for the first time this season. The water was cool, but delightful. Doug fixed pogs with umbrella straws as we later sat on the deck watching the cat sleep and the pelicans dive into the waves for fish. Pogs are pineapple, orange juice, rum with watermelon slices submerged.(no grapefruit for medical reasons) Photos include the Arabians that periodically exercise on the beach and Julie blowing bubbles in the wind.
