The best saturday is one where you are your own boss. Standing right on the beach and feeling the cool breeze with the hot sun glowing down on you and the sound of the waves and seagulls in the distance is enchanting. Step back under the shade and you take yourself out of the bright spotlight and it seems like a dreamworld around you. Spoke to dad and he is even better today after physical therapy this week. Mom won 2nd at the quilt contest in Tyler yesterday.
Today, we drove down the seawall and dined at the lime green architectural structure called Miller's REstaurant since 1976. It was pricey, but excellent. The omelet was the the most delicious we've had yet. Then off to Office Max and Randalls for errands. While at Randall, there was a dalmation that kept trying to enter the store. It had a bump on its nose and a bloody eye. The phone on the tag was disconnected. A good samaritan lady took it to the animal shelter. Spent the entire afternoon doing paperwork. Supper was italian with spagetti and most excellent garlic bread. Reading the newest House Beautiful tonight in detail that discusses different types of wood. Saw this catamaran with a dog today on the beach....called miracle. Yes, saturday is.
