"I must go down to the sea again..." is how the famous poem starts. I have rearranged it to say "I must get to the paints again..." My students were painting sculptures today and I just couldn't bear to throw away the left over paint, so I spent my conference doing a conceptual piece as fast and furious as I could on paper. My subject was a continuation of my seahorse theme. I am unable to give it a title, however. Maybe....bad horsehair day, sea of flames, blue bayou, deep blue seahorse...ha..... and I finally photographed the fabulous pink barnacle mirror that I created last Sunday. I saw one like in out of South Beach and decided that I, too, could create with flair.
