There is nothing else to talk about but the incredible force of the ocean! My sandy street is gone. Well, it is still there, but has lots of tidal water coming and going over it. I wisely decided to park my car on the street behind our house. The noise is deafening out on the deck. Cold rain and blowing winds have driven me indoors from taking anymore photos. And I keep saying to Doug, "Did you hear that?" All kinds of noises are going on out on the beach. I cannot imagine the noise a hurricane would make. On a side note, the neighbors have arrived for the weekend with their dogs, but the dogs are not outside barking on the deck. Tides Rule!
