Sterling called and said it had snowed about 7 inches in Dallas! It is just cold and wet here on the island. I did feel the entire house be shaken by the wind this morning. We may not even get to freezing tonight but northern Houston most likely will. As I was waiting for my strawberry milkshake at the new Whataburger on the island, I thought maybe I should document the normal procedure in planting new palm trees. One must keep the upper palm fronds tied together until the roots are securely growing in the ground. Thank goodness the landscapers for Whataburger, Inc. know this!!! Tonights menu is corn on the cob, small salad and stuffed bell peppers. Lime sherbet for dessert. Life is short, EAT DESSERT FIRST!
